This major provides students the opportunity to focus on a more generalized study of religion. Students may choose from a wide variety of courses in biblical studies, theological/historical studies, religion in society, and practical studies classes. This degree allows students to pursue particular interests in the study of religion.

General Education Core Requirements B.A.: 59-63 Hours
Prerequisites for Religion Major: 6 Hours
Students who choose a religion minor must substitute required courses in their minor with a course from the same subject area. In other words, a single course may not count for both major and minor requirements. Major Requirements: 30 Hours
Area Emphasis: 21 Hours
- Biblical Studies Elective in OT (3000 or 4000 level) 3 Hours
- Biblical Studies Elective in NT (3000 or 4000 level) 3 Hours
- Religion Elective 3 Hours
- Religion in Society Elective 3 Hours
- Religion in Society Elective 3 Hours
- Theological / Historical Studies Elective 3 Hours
- Theological / Historical Studies Elective 3 Hours
Minor Requirements: 18 Hours
