MDD 5240 Endocrinology and Reproduction

In the content specifications of Step 1 of the United States Medical Licensure Examination, the topic of reproductive and endocrine systems covers 9% to 13% of the content tested. We will provide our students with sufficient pre-clinical knowledge needed for success with Step 1 and further clinical education. The endocrine system controls, regulates, and synchronizes the functions of multiple organs and organ systems and influences all aspects of medicine, including development, growth, metabolism, and reproduction, among many others. During the seven weeks, the students will explore basic science concepts that relate to the clinical aspects of endocrine/ reproductive systems.
