MDD 5120 Immunology, Basic Microbiology, and Dermatology

Prerequisites: MDD 5110

Students will learn key foundational microbiology and immunology concepts in this course that would be critical to understanding the clinical manifestations of a variety of diseases in the subsequent organ systems. They will also learn and apply crucial foundational science concepts and clinical concepts related to dermatological systems. During this course, students will engage in an evidence-based curriculum that includes interactive didactics, small group cases, clinical simulation, histology-anatomy-radiology-pathology labs, and independent learning.
