Students in majors requiring more than one semester of chemistry should take CEM 1610 and CEM 1620. Topics include atomic structure, the periodic law, chemical bonding and molecular structure, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, solutions, and acid-base reactions. Laboratory experiences are an integral part of the course. Does not count toward a major in Chemistry $100.00 course fee.
