NUR 5652 Primary Health Care 3 Clinical

Prerequisites: NUR 5630 and NUR 5632 Corequisites: NUR 5650

This course is a continuation of clinical application of health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management begun in NUR 5612 and NUR 5632. Emphasis is on thorough assessment, physical and mental health exam, differential diagnosis, refined diagnostic reasoning, and plan of care for individuals with complex chronic conditions and multiple co-morbidities. Students will complete a minimum of 200 clinical hours under supervision of qualified preceptor.
