The Game Development minor is a cross-disciplinary minor focused on equipping students with the technical skills, creative vision, and collaborative experience essential for game development.
This interdisciplinary minor blends computer science and art to give students a comprehensive foundation in both the development and design aspects of game creation. The courses in the minor provide hands-on experience courses that have the students design and create video games and video game assets using common industry tools.
The minor is designed to augment any degree at Belmont, augmenting student learning and marketability. Furthermore, it is built to aid in the completion of bell-core courses.
