The Master of Science in Applied Analytics is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with a deep understanding of analytics’ role in driving strategic and operational decisions. The program is intended to develop professionals who can effectively interpret and apply data and analytics in a variety of business contexts. Coursework provides a blend of statistics, computer science, data science, and business courses to serve as the building blocks for the creation of three primary personas in analytics: Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analysis. The Master of Science in Applied Analytics uses an executive-style learning environment for working professionals who want to enhance their careers and employ analytics within their organization. Instruction will be delivered in a blend of face-to-face, live video streaming, and asynchronous modalities. Students with limited business or analytics experience may be required to complete a Massey College of Business Summer Institute course or module(s) prior to starting the program.
