Elementary Residency, M.A.T.

This Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) residency program is designed to prepare ambitious individuals for rewarding careers as highly-effective educators in K-5 classrooms. It offers a comprehensive blend of rigorous academic coursework, intensive pedagogical training, and valuable hands-on teaching experience through a one year paid residency placement. In addition to earning a master’s degree, candidates meet the performance standards of the TN Elementary (K-5) teacher license.
