ACC 3780 IT Audit

Prerequisites: ACC 2440 and BSA 2100

This course prepares students to conduct effective information systems audits aligned with industry standards and the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification framework. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate IT governance, manage and perform audit engagements, assess IT systems and infrastructure, and ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of information systems. Through case studies, audit simulations, and exposure to leading frameworks, students will develop a critical understanding of auditing in complex business environments. Cross Listed with BSA 3780
