BIO 2920 Biology Peer Tutoring Lecture 2 Hours
Prerequisites: Permission of instructor and successful completion of course in which student will peer tutor.
Under the supervision of a faculty member, a student may serve as a peer tutor for a lecture. Peer tutor will need to have earned at least a B+ in the course that they are serving. Peer tutor will be responsible for preparing for and attending each lecture, conducting a weekly one-hour study session, serving as a resource to help students master the course material, and maintaining frequent communication with faculty member. Students should anticipate working 5-6 hours a week. The peer tutor does not grade or keep other records for the course. May be repeated more than once. Does not count towards Biology major or minor.
