BIO 2910 Biology Peer Tutoring Lab

Prerequisites: Permission of instructor and successful completion of course in which student will peer tutor.

Under the supervision of a faculty member, a student may serve as a peer tutor for a lab. Peer tutor will need to have earned at least a B+ in the course that they are serving. Peer tutor will be responsible for preparing for and attending each lab to help students with understanding, techniques, and questions as well as maintaining frequent communication with faculty member. The peer tutor does not grade or keep other records for the course. Students should anticipate working 3-4 hours a week. May be repeated more than once. Does not count towards Biology major or minor.
