The Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkship provides students with hands-on experience in the care of women throughout all stages of life, including pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecologic conditions. Students will develop skills in history-taking, pelvic examinations, prenatal care, labor management, and surgical procedures. The clerkship takes place in HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Division, offering exposure to diverse inpatient and outpatient cases. Working alongside obstetricians, gynecologists, and multidisciplinary teams, students will refine clinical decision-making and procedural skills. By the end of the rotation, students will demonstrate competency in managing common obstetric and gynecologic conditions and providing patient-centered reproductive healthcare.
