EDL 6230 Assessment and Accountability in Higher Education

This course provides an introduction to assessment and accountability practices in higher education. Students will examine current trends in assessment, accreditation, and evidence-based evaluation methods used to support institutional effectiveness. The course emphasizes the development and use of meaningful assessment practices that inform faculty development and continuous program improvement. Students will analyze common challenges in assessment and design effective assessment tasks, feedback processes, and evaluation tools that support data-driven decision making across higher education settings.
