PHM 6101 Pharmacy Skills 1

This course teaches and assesses the skills necessary for the provision of pharmaceutical care. Skills taught and assessed in this course include basic pharmacy skills, calculations, non-sterile compounding, and vaccination. Students will also complete professional development activities to enhance skills complementary to those taught in formal classroom settings with a specific focus on professionalism and communication. Additionally, students will be assessed on their knowledge of fundamental drugs necessary to be practice ready.
