PHM 6106 Integrated Pharmaceutical Sciences 3 3 Hours
This course is designed to equip the student pharmacist with the critical skills necessary to analyze and apply foundational knowledge of metabolic pathways, principles of pharmacology, and anatomical and physiological fundamentals into drug action and clinical implications. An emphasis will be placed on nutrition, hormonal regulation of metabolism, receptor theory and receptor mediated signaling, dose-response relationships, drug toxicity, and the anatomical structures and physiological functions most affected by drug therapy.
