PHM 6105 Integrated Pharmaceutical Sciences 2 3 Hours
This course is designed to build upon foundational knowledge by strengthening the student pharmacist’s comprehension and application of the physicochemical properties of drug molecules, molecular biology, enzyme kinetics, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs, and the body systems involved in these processes. An emphasis will be placed on nucleic acids and protein synthesis, gene expression, enzymes, nervous, digestive, urinary, and respiratory systems, and chemical kinetics with respect to the transport, absorption, metabolism, distribution, and excretion, and stability of drugs.
