PHM 6104 Integrated Pharmaceutical Sciences 1 3 Hours
This course is designed to give the student pharmacist a strong foundation of knowledge in cellular and molecular biology, physical pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, introduction to anatomy and physiology, and pharmacology principles. An emphasis will be placed on eukaryotic cell organelles, transport across plasma membranes, structure-function relationships of nucleic acids and proteins, intermolecular forces effect on drug delivery and performance, and the anatomical structures and functions most affected by drug therapy.
