LAW 6436 Belmont Law Journal 2 to 4 Hours
The Belmont Law Journal is composed of second and third-year law students selected to host symposiums and/or forums and produce a published journal with the purpose of advancing discussion of timely criminal, entertainment, and health law related legal issues among the professional and academic communities. Students are selected through a competitive joint selection process with the Belmont Law Review. This offering is available only to students selected for membership and credit is awarded to students who successfully complete the service and writing expectations. In their first year of participation on the journal, students will be eligible for two credits total. One credit will be for the drafting of a student note and one credit will be for their work on a Journal team. Students who participate on the Journal for a second year will be eligible for up to two credits based on their work as a member of the Journal team. Grade is pass/fail. May be repeated up to a maximum of 4 credit hours.
