NUR 5035 Clinical Procedures, Diagnostics, and Treatments 2 Hours
Prerequisites: NUR 5605 and NUR 5300
This course prepares nurse practitioner students to perform common outpatient procedures and interpret common diagnostics. These may include, but are not limited to, suturing, incision and drainage, IUD placement, splinting, casting, EKG and 12-lead, and spirometry. The course is a continuation of the concepts of health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management of musculoskeletal and dermatologic conditions.
