EDL 6710 Qualitative Methods

Students in this course explore qualitative inquiry and approaches commonly used in the social and educational sciences. The approaches examined in the course include historical research, ethnography, grounded theory, phenomenology, case study, and narrative research. Students learn about and practice designing qualitative research studies, and collecting and analyzing qualitative data, with and without the assistance of computer-assistant qualitative data analysis software.
