MHC 6403 Policy Liturgy & Leadership 3 Hours
Prerequisites: MHC 6401 Â
This course will examine policy as a liturgical formation and leadership as a neutral abstraction which can be deployed in healthy and not-so-healthy ways. Students will address questions like: What insights arise when we conceive policy as liturgy writ large? By what standards does one measure effective leadership? Are policies always value-laden? Is leadership a virtue in itself? What resources are available for creating, shaping, and supporting incentive structures which serve human thriving? How do we best distinguish between healthy and abusive leadership cultures? Formerly listed as CTM 6403.
