MGT 6280 The American Healthcare System

This is a foundation course covering concepts, structures, functions, and values which characterize contemporary health care systems in the U.S. This includes an overview of the components of the health care delivery system as well as an analysis of current health care issues. Additionally, comparisons of health coverage, financing, and delivery of care will be made to at least four international countries to the US system.
