NUR 6120 Foundations of Practice Scholarship

This course is designed to develop DNP students’ ability to collaborate with community partners and apply evidence-based frameworks to identify population- and systems-level practice gaps and challenges. Students will learn how to conduct thorough literature searches, critically appraise sources, and synthesize high-quality evidence to inform potential solutions for these gaps and challenges. The course encourages a deeper exploration of contextual and conceptual evidence, preparing students to lay the groundwork for their DNP projects. Grade is pass/fail.
