LAW 6510 Legal Technology Practicum

Many states currently include an ethical duty of technology competence for lawyers, this course aims to bolster that competency in Belmont Law students. This course will provide students with exposure to forms of legal technology currently in use in the profession. Students will explore courtroom technology, productivity software, and near future technologies (AI, Blockchain & Bitcoin, and Legal Analytics) along with additional resources. Instruction methods will include lecture, hands-on use, and guest demonstration.
