SWK 5300 Human Behavior in the Social Environment 3 Hours
This course provides an overview of development through the lifespan in an environmental context. Students will utilize major theoretical frameworks to assess individual and family development and will examine the impact of diversity and of trauma on health and well-being. This course builds on a liberal arts background and is designed to provide an understanding of key biological, psychological, social, spiritual, historical, and cultural factors associated with individual development, as applied to social work practice.
