MHC 5007 Pre-Practicum in School Counseling

This course offers students an opportunity to observe, participate in and analyze school counseling programs as delivered to diverse groups in the school setting. Students observe school culture, prepare to implement comprehensive school counseling programs, and observe the use of date to discern school program effectiveness. Students discuss the role of the school counselor with regard to best practices, theories, and current issues in the field. Formerly listed as CTM 5007.
