These 18 hours must be completed in Italian at the 2000-level or above. This means that all courses with the prefix ITL 2000 or higher would count including the ITL 2950 and ITL 3950 in Italian that are taken abroad. These 18 hours may include advanced independent study courses or other academic recommendations from the Italian advisor.
