The Systems Cybersecurity Minor within the Computer Science (CS) program is designed to offer non-computer science majors a structured curriculum designed to provide students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to protect and defend systems from cyber threats. Courses within the minor will focus on the principles, technologies, development and coding practices that underpin the security of networks, systems, and data. Students will gain a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat modeling, risk assessment, DevOps and defensive strategies to build secure systems and tools.
