Education Policy, B.A./B.S.


This program of study offers an education policy curriculum grounded in social science research, empowering students to understand the broader social, economic, political and historical context of decision-making in contemporary education, as well as an opportunity to complete an individualized internship to broaden career and professional experiences in education beyond the classroom experience.

BELL Core Requirements 53 Hours (minimum)


Technical Requirements:


Technical Requirements are courses identified by the program as required courses and will count in the BELL Core   or as General Electives. 

Research Core Requirement: 3 Hours

International Experience


An international experience is required for all Education Policy majors. This requirement can be fulfilled through various options, including a summer course, a semester, a Maymester, or meaningful experiences working with international individuals, either locally or abroad.

Internship Requirement: 3 Hours


Minor Requirement: 18 Hours


General Electives: 24 Hours (minimum)
