The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics provides students with a broad and fundamental knowledge of economic principles and policies. These principles are applied to a wide range of topics such as economic development, environmental issues, poverty, urban and regional development, international trade, labor issues, and economic history. Students in this major are prepared for careers in business, government service, and also for advanced study in law, business, or other graduate schools.
