This program of study prepares candidates to meet the performance standards of the Early Childhood Education (PK-3) license.Teacher candidates complete a variety of coursework focused on the learning of students in grades PreK through third grade. Through the tailored coursework, teacher candidates build their repertoire of strategies and content specific to early childhood grades.Emphasis is placed on ensuring teacher candidates are prepared in the holistic development of a child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs in order to build a solid and broad foundation for lifelong learning.
