B.S. in Neuroscience

The neuroscience program is an integrated curriculum devoted to the study of the mind and brain. Students who complete this program are well prepared for entry into graduate schools in neuroscience, psychology, or cognitive studies, or entry-level careers as laboratory scientists in pharmaceuticals or basic research.

BELL Core Requirements: 53 Hours (minimum)


Major Requirements: 35 Hours


Research requirements: 7 Hours


In addition, students doing research in Biology should take NEU 4700 , Research in Neuroscience 

Major Electives and Research Requirements: 16 Hours

Path 1: Conceptual Research Track


Path 2: Experiential Research Track


Choose 16 hours (4 courses) from the following:

General Electives: 24 Hours (minimum)
