LAW 6236 Tennessee Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts Field Placement

The Tennessee Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts (“TVLPA”) offers pro-bono legal services to low-income artists of all disciplines, as well as legal and business assistance to emerging nonprofit arts organizations. The field placement allows students to apply the skills learned in the core curriculum and the entertainment law curriculum to live-client situations. The TVPLA is located on the first floor of the Baskin Center. Students are supervised on-site by a licensed attorney. To earn two academic credits, students must successfully complete 100 hours at the field placement and complete the field placement’s classroom component.
