ACC 6320 Accounting Systems and Controls

This course provides accounting students with knowledge needed for understanding information systems and controls for assurance and advisory services. Discusses IT governance and control frameworks, risk assessment, design of IT controls, IT change management, cybersecurity, and SOC (System and Organization Controls) engagements. The course examines controls, risk, security and control issues in the context of conducting assurance and advisory services.
