The study of drugs and how they affect the nervous system and behavior, with a specific emphasis on the pharmacological actions and dynamics of drugs of abuse and psychiatric medications. In addition, this course will feature service-learning by volunteering with local centers that serve amid individuals at risk for substance abuse.
